Example. Solid — what you've proven · light — still to go · dashed ring — lender-ready.
Add bank statements, payslips, a certificate of employment, letters that show a loan or card is closed. One place, encrypted.
Your rose shows six directions lenders care about. We tell you the next best step — and nudge you by email if you like.
Once you cross the line, send a secure link and a PDF report to a partner lender. They review it and decide as usual.
One document is a start, not a case. Lenders want to see the whole picture move.
Payslips, a certificate of employment, ITR, or regular deposits if you freelance.
Three to six months of statements that show money coming in — and staying.
Clearance letters for closed loans and cards, proof that overdue bills are settled.
Your current job, the ones before, and how long you stayed. Stability counts.
A valid ID, a verified mobile number and proof of address.
A complete profile and the links you choose to share, like LinkedIn.
Your dashboard always says what's missing and the single best step to fix it. When all three are true, the button opens.
Optional email nudges — weekly, monthly or when a new statement is out.
Bank statements are some of the most private papers you own. We treat them that way — and you decide who sees what, every time.
We can't promise a yes — the lender decides. We promise your effort gets seen, in a format lenders can check. And every loan you then repay on time builds a better credit history.
Ask the lender for the reason if they give one, then get your credit report and check it for mistakes. Settle or restructure overdue accounts and ask for a certificate of full payment. Build a few months of steady income in your bank account before you apply again — Second Chance collects exactly this proof in one place.
Your report comes from the Credit Information Corporation (CIC). You can request it through accredited channels such as the Lista app (CIBI), the CreditMo app, CRIF Philippines by email, or the CIC Direct-to-Consumer program on creditinfo.gov.ph. Most charge a small fee. Wrong or outdated entries can be disputed through the CIC online dispute process.
No. We do not change CIC records and we are not a credit score. Mistakes are fixed by the lender or through a CIC dispute; paid accounts update when the lender reports them. Second Chance shows lenders what changed since then, with documents they can check.
No. We never pull your credit report. A lender may run its usual checks only after you send them your file.
Only you — until you create a secure link for a specific lender. You choose which documents go into it, and you can withdraw the link at any time.
No. The lender makes the decision, with its own rules. Second Chance makes sure your progress is seen, in a format lenders can check.
A thin file usually gets a quick no. The send button opens when your readiness reaches 70 and no direction is below 40, so a lender sees a real case.
It depends on where you start. Most people need a few months of bank statements and one or two letters about old debts.
It is free during the pilot.
CashCat is not a lender and does not make credit decisions. Second Chance helps you organise documents and share them with lenders you choose. Approval, rates and terms are set by each lender. The readiness score measures how complete and checked your documents are — it is not a credit score.
